From personal screens to spatial computing

XREAL has built its identity around wearable displays for entertainment, gaming and productivity. AURA extends that direction into Android XR and optical see-through computing.

The AURA platform

AURA is designed as an Android XR-powered wired XR glasses product, giving XREAL a path toward a broader spatial-computing platform rather than a standalone screen accessory.

What to watch next

Watch for optical quality, field of view, comfort, phone and compute requirements, Gemini features and the software ecosystem around Android XR.

Our outlook — analysis, not a launch prediction

The next stage will depend on hardware execution, software support and how useful spatial experiences become for everyday users. Unannounced dates and specifications should be treated as unconfirmed.

Editorial note: This is an evergreen industry explainer and roadmap watch, not a report of an unannounced product launch. Confirmed company statements are linked below; forward-looking observations are editorial analysis and may change as products develop.

Update: XREAL 1 Pro+ and the limits of a product listing

XREAL’s official 1 Pro+ page highlights X Prism optics, peak brightness up to 1,200 nits, spatial 3D at 60 frames per second and Follow and 3DoF Anchor modes. The company says 6DoF spatial anchoring requires the separately sold XREAL Eye accessory. Its UK shop lists the product at £599, but the page currently asks visitors to register for a stock notification; treat this as a listed price, not confirmation that stock is available. Some detailed fields, including field of view and resolution, should be verified against the manufacturer’s complete specification documentation before making a direct numerical comparison.
